Here are the specs Asus Republic of Gamers G72gx Core2Duo 2.56 processor 6gb of men, lowered to 4gb for install only Geforce GTX 260M Video 500gb hd Altec Lansing Speakers Used Iatkos L2.. Left all customization as native Sound used=Voodoo HDA 0.2.72 For the graphics I picked the nvidia graphics driver that supports the 400m etc cards and also left the graphics enabler checked And voodoobattery kext for the battery Everything works perfect. Updating to 10.7.4 now..Will check hdmi and let you know.. I even hooked up a wireless keyboard and mouse and no input. I just click and nothing...Ideas? kyleg40
Any ideas why the update wouldn't allow any device to do an input? Is there a known issue etc? mrnico1977
Likely a conflict for IRQ's etc possibly caused by one of your original install fixes being overwritten... I had the same issue with my desktop however I was able to sort it with a ps2 keyboard and deleted the AppleHPET.kext however this may not be the solution for you since your issue could be related to something different. Do some googling and see what you can find with your device and that problem but Doubt you have a PS2 keyboard so if the solution is the same as mine you would need to connect your hdd to another mac and get that other os to remove the file... other thing is to let people here know which of the boot loaders you have installed, if your on the default for Iaktos then you probably have chameleon. Try the boot switches that allow safe mode such as -x, I beleive you can also force boot loader settings too such as USB fix etc... kyleg40
I tried the -v -f, and still nothing..Its weird it only happens when updated to 10.7.4.. As long as I leave it on 10.7.2 its fine..I will leave it on 10.7.2 I guess..Getting an error with iTunes update also, but thats ok, don't use it much..Everthing is working perfectly except hdmi out..It will not work at all.
