Hey folks, im new to this site, but it's been really helpfull. I am planning to install Mac-OS-X-10.4.7-AMD.Intel-(JaS)-ISO-Repack on my PC, first I would like to know if it is really useable(I.E. A fair replacement for windows). I am planning to make a native dual boot based on the tutorial by dilnalomo.

I checked my hardware on the OSx86 project wiki page, but it didnt really give me anything..

My specs:

AMD 64-Bit Venice 3200+ (I've seen this in 3500+ form, and confirmed working with an SSE3 patch)

Abit AN8-Fatal1ty (Nforce 4 ultra chipset)

NEC 3540a DVD-RW burner

DVD-Player, have no clue what brand

Creative Audigy 2 ZS

(if needed) Kingston Hyper X 2x512mb 200mhz

Asus Ati X850XT PE (PCIe) I have a 24" widescreen flatpanel, so I need a 1920x1200 resolution setting.

Two Maxtor Diamondmax Hd's (one 250 on 320gb)

I dont know 4 sure but I think Marvell Yukon Gigabit LAN 10/100/1000

AMIT PCI 802.11 g wireless LAN PC card

I also have an wifiMAX usb Wireless adapter, so I can use it as access point to connect to with my laptop and PSP.

How well will OSX run on this? Could I play games on it too? How about video's and codec support(Divx/Xvid).

Help would be very appreciated (sorry if my English is incorrect i'm a dutchie:P)

If your drives are satas, you'll have problems: nf4 sata not well supported by osx (corruptions when writing, but reads well).

Your audio card won't work (the a2 zs is pci, right?).

Check wiki here for the realtek alc658-based card that comes with your fatality; it might work.

with the jas 10.4.7 on amd, you'll need to do some corrections:

Not sure there will be a fix for this sata problem, nor with the soundcard.

ide drives are cheap, and osx can be installed on secondary drive.

As for sound, if all else fails, there are positive reports with usb external sound devices; eg a quite low-priced usb sb live is reported to work, search this board for info.

I know this is $ spent, so it depends on what you want from your hackint0sh.
