Ok I have a Dell XPS 15 L501X with

Intel Core i5 CPU M480 2.67GHz

Intel Integrated HD & Nvidia GeForce GT 420M

Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6250 AGN

I would prefer to keep my Windows 7 partition Intact. I also have a huge setback, I don't have any CD/DVD's to burn too and I don't have any USB drives.

I have successfully Installed iAtkos L2 in virtualbox, but it felt too slow so I wanted to install OS X directly to my Laptop.

In my first attempt I converted the iAtkos L2 dmg into an iso through dmg2img and used easyBCD to boot from the iso. I booted with the flags

-v -x GraphicsEnabler=No

(I read that there may be problems with Nvidia cards). Before the installation screen I would always get stuck at Still Waiting For Root Device.

My second attempt I used VMware Workstation to install iAtkos L2 to a partition I created. I then booted from the iAtkos L2 iso and tried booting from the partition with various flags with Various failed results.

Is there anyway to turn my mess into a semi successful OS X installation.

Do you have access to a real mac?

If not you may be able to restore the iso to a HDD partition then use that to install to another partition.

Or you could go get a few DVD-RWs/USB sticks, they're not expensive, I bought a 16Gb class 6 USB stick for £12 about a year ago, they're probably even cheaper by now.
