Foxic
Insanelymac is not the place for distros. If you want support from here you would be better off doing a fresh install using Nawcoms ModCD/ModUSB and a Snow Leopard 10.6.3 retail disk. In BIOS make sure you have the following set: HDD Controller to AHCI (if not available, set to RAID but don't set up a RAID array) Sleep to S3 HPET to 64bit 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279673-mac-install-problem/#findComment-1825927 Share on other sites
napsterakos
Will be compatible my system with the snow leopard 10.6.3 retail disk? Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279673-mac-install-problem/#findComment-1825931 Share on other sites

Foxic
Download Nawcoms ModCD and burn it to a disk or download the ModUSB and use a mac/hack to restore it to a USB stick/HDD Boot from the ModUSB/CD At the GUI press F8 to interrupt the boot process Insert a snow leopard 10.6.3 retail disk Press F5 to refresh the available media Select the install DVD Type -v Press enter If you get a kernel panic, take a photo and post it up. You may need a USB keyboard for the install depending on your hardware.
