kanedesigns Posted May 28, 2012 Share Posted May 28, 2012 I have ASUS GTX 570, I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. System profilers detects that its a GTX 570 however I can't increase my resolution and I also get a kernal panic after about 10 mins :S Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rlf Posted May 28, 2012 Share Posted May 28, 2012 My quick study of Google says that support for the 570 doesn't happen until you get to Lion 10.7+, not in Snow Leopard. The kernel panic may have nothing to do with the video. If the panic fills your screen with text, take a picture of it and post it so that someone can get a clue as to what might be causing it.
