  :angel_not: ...hey MaL...I'll give it whirl, and get back to you...just call me the squeaky wheel...

...no go for shutdown with that dsdt...throws out proper calls, ending with cpu shutdown...(verbose) but power and fans still running....sleep still works...thx MaL for trying...damn Lenovo   :angel_not:

 well, that one was a no go...same result....I'm thinking sleep is more important than shutdown...these Nvidia cards must be the issue, (as was noted by brousseau6933)...during installation, with Nvidia in vesa mode, I could shutdown, but not having an AMD card...  :angel_not: ...OH well

the problem is very old, Nvidia block shutdown, in many cases in old time people apply correct patch in _GTS(going to sleep) and solve problem, ur tables don't have native _GTS, only _PTS(prepare to sleep)

...@chris , installed rc scripts (had not installed them previously) and applied fix shutdown in clover...rebooted...still remains, power and fans still running cpu halted.... disks unmounted, no shutdown...but as I've said sleep works...and that's close...thanks anyway for the suggestion...

And with out DSDT its boot or not?

...haven't tried without dsdt since installing 10.12.6... I believe MaL adjusted my dsdt to accommodate my graphics card (among other things) but, I can try it...
