if anyone is interested in following my progress on github: https://github.com/dakkusingh/Zotac-9300KE-OSX86

I have a working DSDT based solution and got the following working:

Graphic

-- VGA

-- DVI

-- HDMI (video)

Onboard sound

-- Headphone jack

-- Mic (untested)

-- SPDIF (untested)

Sleep/Wake/Restart

Still need some help with USB2 support in bios and HDMI audio. Anyone care to collaborate?

Ola

a despeito dos colegas serem meio avessos, se for so a falta do DSDT,eu tenho 3 plataformas..biostar e 2 foxconn, funcionando com o DSDT gerado pelo "DSDT patcher GUI " que apesar de ser antigo, me atendeu perfeitamente..

sorry...my mistake,it's english ..not portuguese.. so...

I used "DSDT patcher GUI" on 3 rigs..biostar and two foxconn with good results (just basic DSDT)

usb mode in all zotac mobo must be put in full mode not high!

qe/ci ? catch my invidia dsdt section..

and see what I done.

also in the other 3D i've opened in Asus motherboard (mcp79a) I had qe/ci

I don't remember the steps.. it was too much time before! but it's the 1st thing I've achieved .. believe me.. because of MCP79a is MAC OSX ootb (is in a lot of macbook) it's so hard to think not to have qe/ci

you must see if you are as stricht as possible to Vanilla kexts.. in the zotac there's no need to mod a lot of kext to run mac.

otherwise.. what's the sense to buy that mobo!!

Is there no way to enable this in mobo? i use a usb hdd to boot and its SLOW without usb2 support in mobo.

Thanks I will run a diff against ur DSDT.

I also noticed a lot of stuff around the CPU section in your DSDT, is that all required?

no. absolutely

it's not a mod on the bios.. the bios mod is not hardware.. eh!

all the mcp79a has that limit.. but in the full mode (not high) you will see that you'll run 480mbt/s.. as if you/re high

I'll extract my dsdt from the bios.. I never run dsdt in a zotac.. and this solve all the problem of run an original mac dvd!!

I/ve changed also the model number/manufacture name!!

here you are.. bye and good luck
