pkubaj
As in the title, my DVD drive works well in SnowLeo distro (which I used to make a Lion installer). After installing Lion and JMicron from ######, it doesn't work. I'm aware that I need to copy some kext from SnowLeo, the question is, which one? Gringo Vermelho
Find out which driver is loading for your ATA controller when using the Snow Leopard distro. Type Kextstat in Terminal or use System Profiler to see loaded kernel extensions. You can also use IORegistryExplorer, find your ATA controller in there and it should show which kernel extension it is using.
