kryszpin2
Hi, I have SUCCESSFULLY installed the OSX86 on my Asus M 6705 RB laptop (Celeron: 1.4M, 1.2GB RAM : 40GB HDD) but I've got problems with my graphic and sound cards. The Graphic card is ATI Mobility Radeon 9100 IGP, max. 128MB – I cannot have a resolution higher then the 1024x768. The sound card is AC97 ATI but my computer does not recognize it at all. Does anyone have an idea how to solve my problem? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2775-natebook-asus-m6705/ Share on other sites
foxale08
im not sure if the sound for that chipset will have a driver written for it, you could try and external sound card, the graphics should have a driver eventualy Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2775-natebook-asus-m6705/#findComment-17641 Share on other sites
blahsucks
Sorry, but you're going to be stuck with VESA. Type something at the darwin countdown at boot, then type this: <code>mach_kernel "Graphics Mode"=<insert resolution here>x<insert color bits here>@<insert refresh rate></code> There is no hardware acceleration or video card driver support at all unless you have an Intel Integrated Graphics chip. Period. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2775-natebook-asus-m6705/#findComment-17646 Share on other sites
kryszpin2
"Graphics Mode" = "400x300x32" works "Graphics Mode" = "1024x768x32" works and all that above as for ex. "Graphics Mode"= "1280x1024x32" do not I wish to achieve 1280x800 resolution. I gues I have already read everything what is accessible and I've used all given and described solution but still there's no effects. Is it possible that the only solution that left means waiting patiently for drivers?
