Infamous Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 So, because of really STUPID Disk Utility in OSX, which FORMATS all partitions only if you want to create a new one in the empty space, i've lost my data. And even if you check "locked for editing" in your previous partition, Disk utility still formats it for no known reason, and THEN creates the one after it in the empty space. Anyway, my question is, how can I unformat HFS+? I've tried Stellar Phoenix. Deep and quick scan finds nothing. Data Rescue II finds all the data. But they're all corrupt after recovery. Those are "recovery tools". I'd like to have something which just "unformat" the whole thing and put the files back where they were, in the same places (physically) Thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
