fos Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 I recently purchased a Mini Display Port to VGA adapter for my Mac Book Pro. It was a third part part purchased at Best Buy. The sales rep assured me that it would work. I didn't. I had to make a return trip to Best Buy and go through the line and hassel to return it. Again, the clerk at the customer service assured me it would work. I told him to go back and try it on one of their display models. He said my laptop must be old. I responded that it is a very recent core i7 quad core. Bottom line, I ordered one from Apple. It arrived today and fits and works perfectly.
