Hey everybody. I'm hoping to install either Mountain Lion or Lion but I'd be happy with Snow Leopard.

So first off my experience, I installed and maintained a hackint0sh build on a Dell Inspiron 1545 but that was about 2 years ago.

My hardware.

Motherboard: MSI 760GM-e51

Chipset: AMD 780G

Southbridge: AMD SB700

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1035T

Memory: 8 GB DDR3

Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GT440 1GB

My HDD is a Corsair Nova2 60 GB SSD but I don't think that will cause any issues.

I would also like to install via USB as I have an optical drive but no blank CD's/DVD's and no money to spend on either.

Thank you for any help you are able to give me and I hope that when this is done I can finally be finished with M$ / Windows.

If you need any other info please tell me and I will give it to you ASAP.

EDIT: ALSO my WiFi adapter is the Netgear N300 (WNA3100) and it's chipset is the Broadcom BCM43231 which seems to not be working on OS X. -_-

It took me forever to get SL to work on my AMD finally was able to get VMware installed and cloned to another drive to boot natively. You need to find out your busratio to get it to actually boot. AMD Phenom x6 1055t MSI 880GMe43 busratio=25.

Would you mind elaborating on what steps you had to do to get it running? Anything specific that would be important for me? I'm venturing back into this and I hope that I can get it running.
