Clayf700
Hello, I have come a long way to get snow leopard on my AMD machine, and so far I have gotten to the point where I have sound working perfectly, Full HD resolution, A self booting OS, And a working graphics card. My problem: "iTunes unexpectedly quit", "Minecraft unexpectedly quit", "Google Chrome unexpectedly quit". You can see how this ruins the experience of entering the beautiful world of Mac. My Specs: ASUS M4A78T-E Motherboard - AMD 790GX Chipset So, by following this guide right here: http://www.osx86.net...x-10-6-amd.html And this one: http://www.insanelym...6 I first insert my ModCD, Go in with -force64 and then I am welcomed with the Snow Leopard Installation. After that I goto customize and hit the following: Legacy Kernel Elliot Legacy RTC Fix Apple PS2 Chipsets: AppleATIATA Chipsets: AppleATIPATA Audio: VooDooHDA Graphics Enabler Sleep Enabler And then let it install on my Snow Leopard Hard Drive. When I boot back into OS X, I update it with Combo Update 10.6.8, Use Legacy Kernel 10.8.0, Then open ##### and select the following: System Utilites: Checked Drivers and Bootloaders: Bootloader: Chimera Drivers and Bootloaders: Miscellaneous: ElliottforcelegacyRTC, EvOreboot, FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement System Definitions: Mac Pro: Mac Pro 5,1 Themes: tonymacx86 classic OSx86 Software: All of them checked I then go into my Windows 7 Hard Drive and Flash my Radeon HD6770 Video card, to Think that it is a HD5770. When I finally go back to my OS X hard drive, it's all perfect! I'm finally an official OS X user! I notice that to bring back a more familiar atmosphere I download Google Chome, Install it and guess what I get? "Google chrome has unexpectedly quit" What?! Same thing with minecraft, I hurriedly download micecraft for Mac. "Miceraft has unexpectedly quit", Then even iTunes "iTunes has unexpectedly quit" It's been since summer since I last gave up, and I have just wiped that HD clean. and now I'm going to crack this. Anyone know what the {censored} is going on? And what I should do differently this time installing OS X?
