ApexDE
I got my Sonnet Presto NIC today. i was really curious to try it out with Lion 10.7.3. Everything works, but the Ethernet turns to "Nicht verbunden" (= not connected) after sleep I priorly removed the old Ethernetinterface from the Network Controlpanel, and removed the plist files "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist" and "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.network.identification.plist" Then i restarted the machine and added a new Ethernetinterface with the Presto. WOL is enabled in Energy Saver CP. After wake the console shows this: 23.02.12 15:40:55,000 kernel: AppleYukon2: 00000000,ffffff806c377000 sky2 - HardwareNotResponding, marking offline 23.02.12 15:40:55,000 kernel: AppleYukon2: error - FATAL: SkGeStopPort() does not terminate (Rx) 23.02.12 15:40:55,000 kernel: AppleYukon2: error - Event queued in Init Level 0 23.02.12 15:40:55,000 kernel: AppleYukon2: error - Event queued in Init Level 0 23.02.12 15:40:55,000 kernel: AppleYukon2: 00000000,00000000 sk98nif - enable - IFEnable failed Furthermore this is what lspci says before sleep: 02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 20) And this is what it says after sleep: 02:00.0 Class ffff: Illegal Vendor ID Device ffff (rev ff) It seems the Presto Card lost power during sleep. Any idea how to fix this? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/276333-sonnet-presto-pci-e-nic-gone-after-sleep/ Share on other sites
ApexDE
UPDATE: OK, after many hours i managed to get it working by using another PCI-E Slot. Oh my goodness It seems the Slot i used before didn't juice the card during sleep.
