I've installed Lion from App store using ##### and USB drive, installed ##### post installation with the VoodooHDA, Sata driver and my motherboard DSDT, and all OK but when I try to update it to 1.7.3 (from the combo update downloaded from Apple as I not get Wifi) I get the "You need to restart your computer. Hold on the power ..." box in the middle of the installation (but at near end) and then mac becomes unbootable freezing at the apple symbol with rotating wheel making me to reinstall again, does anyone know why?.

I have a Celeron GT530 Lion detects it as a Core i7 (?)

2GB RAM

Gigabyte H61M-S2-B3 BIOS F1 with the correct DSDT

Nvidia Geforce GT520. Wotking fine and detects my monitor but 3D is buggy. is fine after 10.7.3

Thanks

Thanks!

I did what you said using Kext Wizard

Fortunately no Kernel Panics after reboot but the sound isn't detected yet, I have used VoodooHDA 2.7.3 edited for VIA VT1708S (my audio chip) kext, installed it in /S/L/E with Kext Wizard. Do I have to rebuild and repair permission after installing VoodooHDA or am I missed something?

Many thanks :)

Solved it by using the ##### installer to install VodooHDA 2.7.3 after AppleHDA. No kernel panics and sound working except the volume control but I always use the speakers one so this doesn't matter me. Now to make my Wifi work and all will be done :)
