atlantisman87bis Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Hello i've bought a HP Laptop with a configuration very similar than macbook pro - Intel corei7 2630QM Sandy Bridge 2.00 Ghz with socket 988B - 8Go RAM DDR3 665Mhz - Motherboard HP 1656 with Intel HM65 - ATI Radeon HD 6490M - HDD 750 Go - Blue Ray i've install 10.6.3 on usb key with the Mammoth 2.0 method, with a very slow access on the USB Key and poor resolution, of course but when i ve tried to upgrade on 10.6.7 with the upgrade method describe, i ve after some seconds in verbose mode a dark screen and nothing happend how install 10.6.7 or 10.6.8 on this laptop please ??? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

atlantisman87bis Posted March 14, 2012 Author Share Posted March 14, 2012 hello again in verbose mode i've in fact a kernel panic on cpu 7 Local APIC error, ESR:64\n~@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu.1504.15.3/osfmk/i386/Lapic.c:784 and after this line i've identified my Kerle Version as Darwin Kernel version 10.8.0 Tue Jun 7 16:32:41 if tried to replace the mach_kernel in the .plist by the taptun_kernel7 and in this configuration in verbose mode i ve been stucked with the line [ PCI Configuration begin ] have you an idea please, if possible i prefere to keep the mach_kernel came with the 10.6.8 upgrade thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
