And LatinMacG modified my DSDT so that it runs as ICH8. Why? I am running into "blue screens" sometimes, i.e. I am forced to shutdown/reboot because the multi language popup comes up and nothing works any more and I am forced to shutdown. Is that because my DSDT is still not 100% correct? Otherwise am very content with Mac OS and I use it instead of Win7 now. LatinMcG Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 yes might have to refine dsdt.. or some files arent working due to prior fixes = fresh install? we can try to fake it as ich7 or ich10 (more compatible for apple) ich10 is closer to its specs of ich9 i was getting that problem last year on my desktop while playing videos and i fixed with newer chameleon and new dsdt. so yes dsdt is got a bug somewhere. or memory leak due to some other bug like yukon or audio.
