I'm pretty new here, I am a happy OSX user on a MacBook Pro, my brother has a laptop ACER 6930G and he'd like to have OSX installed on his pc, I tried several times to install Lion without success, so I tried with Snow Leopard, with the help of [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and Chameleon-2.1svn-r1806 on a 8GB USB stick, with the proper kexts, and now I am at the point that I can boot SL only with Chameleon, not directly from hd, and when I'm in, it doesn't shut down correctly, anyway, it doesn't work properly; can someone please help me to accomplish this rather difficult (for me) task? maybe [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] for SL would do the job, but dunno exactly which options to select; also, is there any chance to install Lion on this laptop pc? thanks for support, jb_ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
