No.6
Hi @ all, first, yes I've read everywhere that the 4200 isn't compatible yet, but then I discovered this fred: http://osx86.co/f57/ati-radeon-4200-hd-fix-snow-leopard-t4950/ in the last post he writes about a working kext, so I've downloaded it, and my System seems to boot, but then when normally the loginwindow appears the screen becomes black for 1 second an then gray, an then happens nothing, except for the light of my capslock key, wich is blinking in a very low frequency. It's very hard to google after such a problem, because the chance that someone else described it with the same words you use is very small, especially when english isn't your motherlanguage, so sorry for asking here and sorry for the lingual mistakes. if someone is interested on installing OSX on the same laptop write a pm, i'll explain it then. Everything except for the graphic is working well. greetz
wardo1254
That is a leopard .kext; not a Snow Leopard .kext. This is probably causing the problem.
