rgrover91
I almost have a fully functional Lion OS working on my Dell Latitude E6510. The only problem I have is that it will not boot up without the USB drive. When starting up I get the PCI Configuration Begin message. The only way it will boot up from the USB drive is if I use the following command: -v npci=0x2000 PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=YES I installed Chameleon 2.1 r1768 as the bootloader and I have the following statements in my org.chameleon.Boot.plist file: <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>npci=0x2000 </string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>PCIRootUID=0 </string> Is there anything else I can do to get my system to boot up on its own? Thanks in advance!!! CK Lee
May I ask how you install it? I wish to install into my Dell E4310.
rgrover91
To answer your question, I installed the OS with a USB drive using #####, and can be found at tonymacx86.com UPDATE: I have installed and updated the Chameleon Wizard and it will still not boot up from the hard drive. For some reason I cannot post a pic so I will have to tell you the options I have set in the Chameleon Wizard: Boot Flags: GUI Default Partition hd(0,2) Misc: npci=0x2000 32-bit Ethernet Built in System Type 2-Laptop Graphics: Graphics Enabler
