hello,

here is my build :

i5 2500K

Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (rev. 1.3)

Kingston 2 x 4 go 1600 9-9-9-24 (PC12800)

MSI GTS 250 1GB OC

M4 Crucial 128Go (SSD) for Mac os X (sata 6gb port 0)

Seagate 750 go for data (sata 6g port 1)

Optiarc DVD-rom (port sata 3gb port 2)

Seagate 320go for Windows 7 (dual boot) (sata 3gb port 3)

apple keyboard on USB 2.0 (back)

mouse logitech on USB 2.0 (back)

Antec 430W

install, perfectly with usb stick and lion 10.7.2 buy from app store

reboot ok , post- install with ##### (perhaps my error) : http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=168&t=32306&p=279424#p279424

and now some boring issues :

- no sleep or wake,

- usb copy seem to be not flawlessly (progress bar stop, speed and stop etc.)

- and the awfull decision to pout kext in /S/L/E ; /Extra is empty (just smbios, org.cham, DSDT.aml and the chameleon Theme)

Considering chimera is it a good option ?

if someone had a motherboard , can he give me his DSDT.aml and is /Extra ? (kext + conf)

thank you,

Note : which hack method is good for post-install on Lion ?

Your first mistake was using #####, it will have installed a disabler kext for power management.

Look in S/L/E, remove Disabler, SleepEnabler, NullCPUPowerManagement, anything with Voodoo in the name, anything with PS2 in the name.

This should get you back to how you had it before you installed kexts with #####.

All kexts now go in S/L/E and you need to put 'UseKernelCache=Yes' in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist.

The boot process for Lion is a little different to Snow Leopard and you need to do this in order to boot using the cache (like .mkext) otherwise Lion loads every kext on startup (like using -f).

Unfortunately UseKernelCache=Yes ignores E/E so all kexts have to go to S/L/E.

I prefer Chameleon to Chimera but it's up to you. Whichever you use, make sure to use the most recent revision.

I'm going to clarify this statement because it's not entirely accurate.

##### allows you to customize your kext installations based on what you chose to install, it doesn't automatically install NullCPUPowerManagement.kext unless you purposely select the options that do that.

Chimera is an excellent option is it has added device ids for a plethora of graphic card support.

You can check out my installation guide here which should help you out:

thank good people : you're right.

But i did not install Nullpower , nor voodoo, nor sleeper or disabler.

just : TRIM enabler, ahci third party sata, hda + rollback and that all (like gordo78 ga-z68x-ud3h-b3 guide)

BUT .... and this is the FIX : DO NOT INSTALL Lnx2Mac realtek driver, just RealTek official driver , and everything is fine.

One question beelzebozo : why did you enable Generate cpu state AND PCI fix ?? (chimera do it by default i you have a good DSDT ...)

Generating states allows for a cooler running system and allows for speed stepping despite having installed a DSDT.

It's better to have it then not.
