Foxic
Hi welcome to the forum. First of all, start off by posting your hardware spec. Second, try using a retail copy with a boot disk suitable for your hardware. Distros are hard to support as most users here seem to use the retail install method, myself included. This generally leads to a much cleaner installation and rather than just being able to say 'my hackintosh works', you'll be able to say WHY it works, which will help greatly when it doesn't work, due to updates or what-not.
