jpersiani
Hi, I just installed Mac OS X Leopard on my Dell Inspiron 1545 for the second time. I installed it the first time and it took me about a week, but I got wifi working, and I can't remember how. I then installed the software update to 10.5.8 using iDeneb update tool. After this I could see the wifi icon on the finder bar but it said "No airport card installed." Everything else works fine, but I really really need wifi and I can't seem to find out why. I booted back into the dist and verified and repaired disk permissions but that didn't help at all. Also, last time I think I used IO80211Family.kext for wifi, but this time it doesn't seem to work. Also my ethernet port doesn't work either, i have a Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller. Thanks so much!
