joopykoopy
Hello folks, I've installed OSX Lion (out of a distro, I know it't not supported here, but I have to give it a shot), and every time I want to start my laptop I have to type cpus=1. That's not the problem, but the real problem is, i'm working on only one core, and I want both of them working (with the hyperthread). Is there a known way to fix it? The notebook is HP G6-1220sd Thanks in advance, joopykoopy Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/273339-q-how-to-fix-cpus1-on-i5-sandy-bridge-mobile-fixedexplanation-included/ Share on other sites

The Windows Tweaker
I'm trying to install OSX Lion on my friends notebook. He also got the i5 processor. Do you need to use a patched kernel to get it work? Where can i find that patched kernel?
