Is there any way to change the mac address in any of these two cards? i have x86 and 10.4.7 jas. Please help. of course i tried ifconfig but the mac didn't changed. my internet provider assigns mac to ip so i must change my mac address. Thanks for help, any help !!! Thanks for help, any help !!! There are programs out there for it... but why? You can call your ISP and have the clear the host file on their end. (I work for a broadband provider that assigns IP to MAC. mmk Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 Quite easy ... you don't need anything .... ifconfig works Just enter Terminal, and "ifconfig", see what card you wanna change mac to (en3 lets say) and then: "sudo ifconfig en3 ether 00:00:00:00:00" and voila` ....
