nophones
Hi, I just bought a new machine. The configuration is: Intel i7 Asus P6X58D-E 2X nVidia GTX 560ti 6GB ram 120SSD hard WD 2TB I have a usb pen drive ready and OS Snow Leopard 10.6.x burnt on CD. I have tried to install OS from the USB and the CD(after reading many tutorials how to set the machine up before starting with the installation, of course) ,but what I get to is a white screen saying " I must restart your computer" or something similar to this. I am new to OS and I don't have any experience with that. Or maybe its not me its the configuration I don't know. Please if someone had already that kind of problems before with similar components HELP HELP HELP. I really want to have it. Thank you in advance. xx66stangxx
You gave us little information on what is causing your system the error. You are getting this message startight after your boot from the CD/USB? Or during installation? Screen shots will help.
Markrtoon
Ditto ^^ I recommend that you stick with one type of install media first, then move on to the second, what boot CD are you using?
