Gringo Vermelho Posted November 20, 2011 Share Posted November 20, 2011 It should be possible but when using a DVD you probably can't use the exact same command that you use to make a Chameleon boot CD. Take a look at my boot CD how-to over at the VoodooProjects forum, find a post by me and follow the link in my signature, you will need cdboot. Crabhunter Posted November 21, 2011 Author Share Posted November 21, 2011 Thanks, I'm not sure you understood what I was trying to say, so far the only methods I have found to install Lion involve creating a bootable usb stick. I have no trouble doing this (with the help of installer apps) and can successfully install Lion on my pc. I would like to be able to just restore the usb stick to a dvd but it's not easy I'm sure it must be possible. Only, on optical media you need 'cdboot' as opposed to 'boot'. I am pointing you to my guide because you are effectively creating a Chameleon boot DVD. I know Lion Cache Cleaner (nice OS X multi tool from Alaska) can create an install DVD from the Lion App Store package but to use that you would still need a Chameleon boot CD or flash drive.
