manofmany Posted November 20, 2011 Share Posted November 20, 2011 I've tried iAtkos L1 using -v -x and it loads a ton of kexts and always goes to a blank screen. Do I need to add a kext to my files or should I try another version? This is on a Toshiba Satellite P205-S6307. In best case (depending on the ID) scenario it should be working with retail OS X+Chameleon+DSDT patch and no other stuff needed. Unfortunately this doesn't work with all GMAs. Yes, 27A2 is "the best case scenario" I have SL X.6.8 on my notebook (with GMA950, 27A2, DSDT+Chameleon) and it's working very well (driver is 32bit mode only, however my CPU is 32bit only so it doesn't bother me much). As far as I remember it has always worked properly (though I've used X.6.4 to start with). AFAIK Lion is no joy with GMA950. You'd better stay with SL.
