ankh_red Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 so... before this, i have 10.7.2 running smoothly on my acer 4745g.... everything working but need to sleep first to make audio works.... im using voodoohda for audio and using sleepenabler+DSDT (EHCI/UHCI fix) for proper sleep.. and disaster... after upgrading Ram (i add 2gb ram on available slot), so now i have 4gb on my laptop, it cannot sleep.. when i tried to sleep the screen turn black but not actually sleep, its like when the screen saver start the screen then locked. literally, if i trying to sleep its just locked the screen.. ive read it somewhere that upgrading ram , mean that reedit DSDT.. is it true that adding more ram causing this?? (note: if i remove the DSDT.aml from /E, it can sleep but wakeup immediately its no longer just locked the screen.. but the sound is not working ... normally after sleep sounds worrks great ...)
