Greggen
Hello! Got 2 kernel.log entries that keeps spamming my log. Oct 26 22:59:53 martins-mac-pro kernel[0]: add_fsevent: unabled to get a path for vp 0xffffff80131cb9b0. dropping the event. Oct 26 22:59:53 martins-mac-pro kernel[0]: add_fsevent: unable to get path for vp 0xffffff80133167c0 (DPAPPasswordPanel.nib; ret 22; type 2) Oct 26 22:59:53 martins-mac-pro kernel[0]: add_fsevent: unabled to get a path for vp 0xffffff80133167c0. dropping the event. Oct 26 22:59:53 martins-mac-pro kernel[0]: add_fsevent: unable to get path for vp 0xffffff8011f75c98 (Duplicates.nib; ret 22; type 2) It points to different files on each stamp. And the other one is: Oct 26 22:59:52 martins-mac-pro kernel[0]: add_fsevent: unabled to get a path for vp 0xffffff800fe639b0. dropping the event. Oct 26 22:59:52 martins-mac-pro kernel[0]: add_fsevent: unable to get path for vp 0xffffff800fe639b0 (RuledBorder; ret 22; type 2) Oct 26 22:59:52 martins-mac-pro kernel[0]: add_fsevent: unabled to get a path for vp 0xffffff800fe639b0. dropping the event. Oct 26 22:59:52 martins-mac-pro kernel[0]: add_fsevent: unable to get path for vp 0xffffff800fe639b0 (RuledBorder; ret 22; type 2) This keeps repeating for the same item at least 10 times before it starts whit the next one. Never had any of this in SL. The only change I made to my hardware config when I installed Lion was to add a SSD. I've also set up symbolic links to some of the folders in my home folder to another HD to save space on the SSD. Everything else is identical to the SL setup i had been using for around 2 years. Asus P5QL-Pro Radeon 5850HD 4GB 800Mhz DDR2 Intel Core2Quad 2,66Ghz Anyone got a clue what it can be? I'll try anything, this makes my whole log more or less unreadable!' Thanks, and sorry for the bad grammars. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/271233-kernallog-errors/ Share on other sites
