RedPython
Hi, I have an Core i3-based Acer Aspire 5741G with an Intel Media Accelerator HD integrated GPU. The intergrated chip only has a very limited range of VESA modes (640x480,800x600,1024x768), none of which match the intergrated panel resolution of 1366x768. Is it possible to force OS X to boot into 1366x768 rather than using 1024x768, even if it means a loss in performance? AFAIK there are currently no kernel extension for the MAHD. Thanks! Zainuintel
In my personal experience if you have OSX86 Tools then 1. Run OSX86 Tools from the Applications Folder 2. Click Add EFI Strings/Bootflag 3 it should say 'Please enter the graphics mode to use in this format' near the bottom left 4.Type 1366x768x32 and click save and everything OK and restart Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/270852-force-non-vesa-resolution-on-media-accelerator-hd/#findComment-1765073 Share on other sites
