Hi,

I've managed to install Lion on to my Dell Vostro 1500 following the guide from myHack.

However, it will not boot. I've replaced some kexts that are from Snow Leopard as the Lion ones aren't compatible with the Dells it seems. I have to boot with the flag: -f PCIRootUID=1

Otherwise it'll load a small white rectangle in the top left and do nothing else.

With the flag, I'll get a few seconds of loading and then:

panic(cpu - caller [Long Hex code]): "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\m"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1699.22.73/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1504

Then some backtrace on the CPU 0 and says I should restart. This also occurs if I use the -v flag as well.

Any ideas on a solution please?
