Congoalie1
Hello, I am having a problem when I try to boot my Mac OS X Lion in vmware. I attached an image of the error. I've already seen a thread on this but no working answer was given. Here are some of the things i have tried; Adding the pae = "TRUE" to the vmx file Changing the monitor code to this, monitor.virtual_exec = "hardware" monitor.virtual_mmu = "software" disabling my dvd/cd drive in the vmware settings (someone told me to try that) I have enabled my Virtualization and know that it works because i get to the apple logo but it shows that error. Here are some of my system specs: AMD Athelon II Dual-Core 3.00 GB RAM 64 Bit Windows 7 Ultimate I am using VMware workstation 7, and have unlocked it to run Mac OS X with the unlocker. I am also using a pre-built vmware file so could that be the problem? Any solutions / tips? Thanks, Connell Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/268819-mac-os-x-lion-on-vmware-workstation/ Share on other sites

Also unless it has a modified kernel for AMD in it, it will never work as Macs don't use AMD chips. Donk
I do not know for sure, but it is the Mohamood1 or something like that. Sorry that looks like a nightmare! I have no idea what they are doing, and frankly it is full of pirated software, and take the unlocker I put together an re-packaged it.
