Prelator Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 Hello, i have a problem with the mac installation on my thinkpad x220. but first the data specs: - Intel Core i7 2620 Sandy Bridge - Intel HD 3000 Graphics - standard HDD with 320gb / hitachi - 4/8rb ram ... i can install mac os snow Leo 10.6.0 with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] lagecy and the retail DVD without problems. If i Update to 10.6.8 i get problem with boot. here my steps: - Install Updatehelper - Reboot - Start [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 3.9.0 (only opened) - Install the combined Update pack 10.6.8 and then the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] many different options - reboot Then i cant run the bootloader from the mac hdd. I cant only run with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] but i cant start the mac anymore... I get an PCI load error... an update from 10.6.0 to 10.6.7 works well... Whats my fault? Or what can i do? Any x220 Users with 10.6.8 or better with lion? Komano Posted October 1, 2011 Share Posted October 1, 2011 I believe the error is PCI Configuration Begin? Could i have an image of the error. If the error is what i said. Try using "npci= 0x2000" and make sure your ThinKPad graphics is set to Discrete Graphics. Change the OS Detection to Disabled.
