Hello,

i have a problem with the mac installation on my thinkpad x220.

but first the data specs:

- Intel Core i7 2620 Sandy Bridge

- Intel HD 3000 Graphics

- standard HDD with 320gb / hitachi

- 4/8rb ram

...

i can install mac os snow Leo 10.6.0 with ##### lagecy and the retail DVD without problems. If i Update to 10.6.8 i get problem with boot. here my steps:

- Install Updatehelper

- Reboot

- Start ##### 3.9.0 (only opened)

- Install the combined Update pack 10.6.8 and then the ##### many different options

- reboot

Then i cant run the bootloader from the mac hdd. I cant only run with ##### but i cant start the mac anymore... I get an PCI load error...

an update from 10.6.0 to 10.6.7 works well...

Whats my fault? Or what can i do?

Any x220 Users with 10.6.8 or better with lion?

Thanks for answers..

if you need more infos, please ask me

I believe the error is PCI Configuration Begin?

Could i have an image of the error.

If the error is what i said. Try using "npci= 0x2000" and make sure your ThinKPad graphics is set to Discrete Graphics. Change the OS Detection to Disabled.
