danerd100
Here's the situation: I have a good install of Snow Leopard on hard drive a. I just bought a new hard drive, and want to clone my SL to that partition due to space constraints on the first drive. I used CCC to clone it, and the copy went perfectly. The only problem is that I can't boot from the second drive. I can, however, boot from the first drive to the second drive (use the chameleon gui and select the SL partition on the second drive) but I plan on wiping the first drive and using it for something else, so this isn't a permanent solution. I get the Boot0 Error when i attempt to boot from the 2nd drive. I have tried the typical fixes for this error, with no success. What I am thinking about doing is reformatting the second drive and partition it with GUID. Will this cause issues with the fact that the original partition (which I am cloning) is a MBR format?? Are there any other suggestions??? Your help is greatly appreciated
3.14r2
AFAIK CCC DOESN'T copy bootloader files. You need to install Chameleon (with all its components) to the target-clone disk.
