Issue Booting after cloning partition

Here's the situation:

I have a good install of Snow Leopard on hard drive a. I just bought a new hard drive, and want to clone my SL to that partition due to space constraints on the first drive. I used CCC to clone it, and the copy went perfectly. The only problem is that I can't boot from the second drive. I can, however, boot from the first drive to the second drive (use the chameleon gui and select the SL partition on the second drive) but I plan on wiping the first drive and using it for something else, so this isn't a permanent solution.

I get the Boot0 Error when i attempt to boot from the 2nd drive. I have tried the typical fixes for this error, with no success.

What I am thinking about doing is reformatting the second drive and partition it with GUID. Will this cause issues with the fact that the original partition (which I am cloning) is a MBR format??

Are there any other suggestions???

Your help is greatly appreciated
