i have copied OSXX86 ISO file into my harddisk1. is it possible install OSXX86 into harddisk2 from ISO mirror in my harddisk1?

AFAIK it's not possible to install it directly from a mounted ISO image.

thank you all very much for the above information. i know mac osx is based on UNIX and you can run PC with startup disk and use some command lines to mount mirrows to install linux. i dont know mac osx at all but know a little about linux. i guess it is possible to do in this way. i dont like VMware because it is so slow and i have not a working mac osx. :-(

My initial plan for installing osx was to save on dvd-r media and write the iso to a 4.3gb spare hard disk using transmac. i believe it would have worked however for some reason transmac could not see the other drive.
