Connect to Server (cmd-K) Missing sidebar

2 posts in this topic

I have this problem when I connect to a server share. (cmd-k)

It always open the window without a sidebar and always in icon view.

It does not seem to remember my previous setting (Column View with Sidebar)

Anyone else have this problem?

mine used to do this and then it went away for an unknown reason, on my macbook at least. My netbook still has this issue. I think it may have to do with me changing how the finder is set up on the server itself... But yes, I have had this problem before and I have no idea how I fixed it. I'm also using totalfinder, I think that may make a difference. Sorry, I know that probably doesn't help but no, you are not alone. It's annoying.

Whoops, I didn't realize how old all the posts are in this forum.
