wtfspiff
Recently bought a new machine for hackintosh running 10.7 Specs : i7 2600k 3.4 Ghz Asus P8P67 motherboard 16 GB DDR3 Bose Companion 5 Speakers Now when my computer is idle and there is no sound playing - the speakers have this buzz sound coming out of them which disappears as soon as I play another sound. While its doable to work with it but sometimes it just gets annoying. Can anyone recommend a fix ? Regards

It's called "Ground Loop". Try plugging the speaker's power cord into another AC outlet - than the one that the computer is plugged into." The plugging into a new AC fixed the problem for me
