1. Cannot boot after new hardware

How do I remove that? In the Bios I cant Disable or Enable GPU. I can only select one of them - Currently the PCIexpress Port GPU (Geforce 660ti) is selected.
2. Hi Guys. So im running Mountain Lion 10.8.2, with Chameleon Bootloader. Everything was great, until I got new hardware. I switched from: Mainboard: Asrock z68 GPU: Geforce 560ti to Mainboard: Asrock z77 Fatal1ty GPU: Geforce 660ti And now I cant boot my system anymore Im getting this error when booting in Verbose mode. Can anyone help me out?
3. P8P67 + Bose Companion 5 = Buzz

I have the exact same problem. But a different Mainboard. (Asrock z68pro) This didn't happen in Snow Leopard btw. (I'm running Lion now) From Apple Support about Bose Companion 5 "You have a common problem. It's called "Ground Loop". Try plugging the speaker's power cord into another AC outlet - than the one that the computer is plugged into." The plugging into a new AC fixed the problem for me
4. But what about Lion? I had everything working in Snow Leopard. My problems started occurring when installing lion. I installed Lion through xMove (Created a partition, used xMove which made the partition a bootable Lion installer, selected the partition in Chameleon, and installed Lion on top of Snow Leopard).
5. How should deactivating firewire, serial, etc. make my graphics card work correctly? No i didn't use that method since i don't have a big enough USB drive. I used the xMove method.
6. The very first time, before doing anything, the first thing i did was inserting "Graphicenabler Yes". It resulted in no change. Just a low resolution and no hardware acceleration. I checked out the website, but had a hard time finding out what exactly "Modcd" is and does. After using boot to install, what then? No #####? Then what about Chimera boot loader? Without that i can't start the system? Soooo many questions from a newbie like me
7. So i should do the above and delete NVEnabler? Where do i find the NVEnabler kext? i found an NVEnabler 64 kext which i deleted. I then ran the System Utilities (Repair permissions) from #####, but got an error "NVDAN50HAL.kext is installed incorrectly.... etc" :/ I then rebooted, and now i have low resolution and no hardware acceleration UPDATE: Changed my system definition in ##### to Mac Pro 3,1 and now i get full resolution and hardware acceleration. I just tested Starcraft 2, and it ran great in 2560x1600 extreme settings, with 45 FPS average. But when i went back into the menu, the FPS dropped to 0-1 (Just like before) Seems like in still stuck at slobbish performance
8. Hi - Thanks for your answer. I just tried what you suggested, but now I'm getting a kernel panic when i boot. A lot about "NVenabeler" This is the error: This really sucks
9. I recently installed Lion, followed by #####. I got everything working, except for my graphics card. First of all i tried Graphicsenabler: Yes, which didn't work. Afterwards i tried using OSX86tools, to create an efi string, and put it in my plist myself. I still have a low resolution and no QE/CL, but at least i got something in the "About my Mac" window. Heres what it says so far: GeForce GTX 260: Chipset-model: GeForce GTX 260 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Bredde på PCIe-kanal: x16 VRAM (i alt): 896 MB Producent: NVIDIA (0x10de) Enheds-id: 0x05e2 Revision-id: 0x00a1 ROM-revision: nVidia GeForce 260 GTX OpenGL Engine [EFI] Skærm: Skærm: Opløsning: 1024 x 768 Pixeldybde: 32 bit farve (ARGB8888) Hovedskærm: Ja Dublering: Fra Online: Ja Skærmstik: Still nothing. Then i tried installing the "NVIDIA Retail Mac Driver Installer 19.5.8f03" After a reboot, the apple logo appeared (Much higher res), but i got a grey screen with a mousecurser, and a popup, saying that my previous boot had some applications open, and if i wanted to open those again. But no matter what i click (Open, or Cancel), i get the same popup again and again, and can't get into the desktop. If i run the system with the -x command, i can get into the system with full resolution, but very choppy performance. Can any of you help me to get my graphics card to work? Thanks a lot guys
10. I just switched from 9800gtx to 260gtx, but my hackintosh still thinks the old 9800gtx card is in the machine. OpenGl, resolution and everything works, just as before. My question is: Will i get better performance, using a "driver", which makes my machine think the correct card (260gtx), is in the machine, or does it matter if it still thinks the 9800gtx is in the machine? Thanks in advance
11. 9800 GTX working in OSX86

9800gtx, cant get QE, or Resolution. Tried very guide i could find!, Help! Im stuck here... I have a hackintosh with 2 drives. I recently deleted the first drive, since it was only storage. But that drive included the bootloader, so i was stuck. I managed to get a new bootloader installed on my second drive (The one with Snow Leopard), and i can now boot again. But the graphics driver doesnt seem to work. Everything else does. Sound, Wireless, Bluetooth etc. So now i have tried every Geforce 9800gtx 512mb, guide i could find, and nothing works. So far my system profiler says "Geforce 9800gtx+", but i can only select 1024x768, and there is no hardware accelleration. I tried both EFI strings, both with OSX86tools, and EFIstudio, and some installers. Nothing worked. I have 2 com.apple.boot.plist, files. One in /Extra , and one in /Library/Preferences/ What should i do? Is there a way to delete all the graphics drivers i tried to install so far, and start with the graphics from scratch again? Im really stuck here I hope there is a friendly soul out there who wants to help out.. /Fresch
12. i just built my Hackintosh, and was about to choose a wireless PCI card. Everyone recommended the Asus WL-138g V2, as it works out of the box with OSX. Well, not here. When i look in my system profiler it looks like this: But, when i take a look at the System Preferences, under Network, i cant find Airport anywhere, not even when i want to add a new network connection.. How do i get it to work? i am on Os X Snow Leopard 10.6.1, installed vanilla with Boot123, and running Chameleon bootloader.
13. This is the guide i used: Slboot.iso http://redirectingat.com/?id=292X457&u...wm%2Fslboot.iso "Install Snow Leopard: 1) Insert your newly burned CD into your drive, reboot and press F12 during POST, and choose CD-ROM as bootup device. 2) When Chameleon boots up, insert your Snow Leopard Retail DVD into your drive, then press F5. The Snow Leopard DVD should now show up. If it doesn't, open and close the drive, and press F5 again. Select the DVD, press -v and press enter. 3) Install OS X. Grab a cup of coffee... 4) Restart. You need to load your saved settings in BIOS before proceeding. You should also exchange the retail DVD with your boot CD. Save your settings (F10) and restart. Press F12 to boot from your CDROM. 5) This time select your newly installed SL partition at the Chameleon main menu. Press -v and enter to get logging. Fill out the various forms. If you do not wish to register with Apple you can press cmd+Q when prompted for your Apple ID."
