10.7 Lion = Isight mic problems in apps

Hey guys I will explane my issue to you all. I have installed Lion fine everything running ok apart from a few things. FaceTime in Lion was not conecting properly etc, The FaceTime calls always had 'FaceTime Failed' I mean every call! not one call worked properly.

 

So I decided if it worked in Snow Leopard it has to work in Lion... After a week or so of testing things installing new bootloaders etc etc etc etc I found the problem!!!!

 

In Snow Loepard I could have my onboard sound disabled no problem and use my EMU 0404 PCI Card.

 

In lion however FaceTime wouldnt connect as it wasnt detecting any onboard sound!. The EMU 0404 Card no longer worked with the FaceTime App...

 

It seems that the FaceTime App looks for onboard sound... So I re-enabled my Sigmatel onboard sound in my BIOS and BOOM! Facetime worked! It conected first time! But there is an issue. My iSight external cam isnt working with FaceTime now. I can make a call find but the person cant hear me at all.....

 

I have removed my EMU 0404 PCI c ard for now till i get the on board sound working. I am using VoodooHDA.kext to run it just now. Sound is good and work fine but still FaceTime wont work with it.

 

Does ahnyway have any ideas on what it could be? These are things I have tried.

 

 

 

1. Working sound in DSDT, This works find and the system profiler picks it just fine but no audio will play at all..

 

2. Removed the DSDT audio part & Lions AppleHDA.kext and installed Voodoo Kext only. Still no luck

 

3. Installed VoodooHDA.kext and Lion AppleHDA.kext together. still the same problem FaceTime callers cant hear me.

 

4. I have selected the isight camer in the sound preferances to be the input etc etc. Still wont work.

 

Any Ideas?

It's a common problem that there is no sound on external iSight in Facetime in Lion. It's not hackintosh thing and as far as I know it's still not fixed.
