applegate Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 Did a DSDT patch with: HDEF, DTGP, AD1988B and LION AppleHDA Kext on ASUS Barebone P5B-BN (T3-P5G965 INTEL ICH8 with AD1988B Lion 10.7.1) NO SOUND on all outputs: SPDIF (no red light)/HEADPHONE/LINE-OUT. I can see all in- and outputs in system information and if I connect a headphone it will show up in the preference pane/sound (automatic detection works). Note: if I extract the DSDT I need to patch it with HDEF first, to be able tot apply AD1988B succesfully and use DTGP to have it compile without errors. Who can help? Thanks in advance. tepaks Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 Patching the patch, VodooHDA it self, I got 1988b to work with on all chanels but sound quality is poor.
