It's not a hardware issue, as it works without any problems on Windows, it's more a iTunes issue. I have HD Audio onboard my mobo is Asusu P5GD1 Pro. Anyone with a similar problem? quixos Posted September 18, 2005 Share Posted September 18, 2005 iTunes 5 is screwed up for a lot of people, check out mac forums. i couldn't import my windows iTunes library with 5, it somehow combined mp3's, just scrambled them together. imported succesfully with 4.8. and am now using 4.9. might want to wait for apple to release next version. p3n5t3r Posted September 18, 2005 Author Share Posted September 18, 2005 I read on the mac forums about people not having problems when using quick time 7.0.1, so I went on to install it. However, first I had to intal 7.0.2 in order to reinstal 7.0.1, because i have not found a 7.0.1 installer. The bad thing is that after instalation of 7.0.2 my system hangs at startup and there is nothing I can do.
