revertive
I have installed lion on my desktop pc, the first thing i did was copying FakeSMC.kext to my extension folder to make it boot. Then found a kext to make my network card working. But now i'm trying to get my graphics card working. Specs: Intel Pentium E5200 Asus P5B-Premium 4 GB 800Mhz DDR-2 750 GB HDD (Windows) 80 GB HDD (OSX) Sapphire ATI Radeon 4830 ACER P246H At first i tryed Netkas 10.7.1 qe/ci exotic patch, and when i reboot my display go's black and says "input not supported" which seems to indicate that a wrong resolution is used. Then i tryed to set the resolution with com.apple.Boot.plist <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1024x768x32</string> But i didn't seem to have any effect. When i boot with kernel flag "-v" i see this: ** Device in slot --1 ** So it seems the kext looks for a device in the wrong slot or something. Does anyone know how i can make my graphics card work? revertive
I've succeeded to login to my desktop, i used VNC to login and change my resolution. It works but the max resolution i can successfully choose is 1600x900 @ 75Hz (60 Hz doesn't work). My displays native resolution is 1920x1080, but when i select that one it says "Input Not Supported". And i have a new line thats keeps popping op in dmesg, IOSurface: buffer allocation size is zero My display is a ACER P246H. I hope there is someone who had this problem to and knows how to solve it, thanks in advanced. EDIT: It seems that every resolution works as long as i can select 75Hz, but at 1920x1080 i can only select 60Hz so it doesn't work. Does someone know if there is a way to for 75Hz @ 1920x1080?
