fobstar Posted September 17, 2005 Share Posted September 17, 2005 hey all i finished making the mac osx86 dvd and rebooted my comp with the dvd inside....now it boots to darwin but it gives me a problem there...it says /com.apple.Boot.plist cannot be found...... how do i fix this please help really desperate Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stern Posted September 18, 2005 Share Posted September 18, 2005 Uh... that's a real problem you've got there. Try booting in -s mode and creating the file with the correct permissions (root:wheel) Even though this will create an empty file, it might allow you to boot. Other than that, I can't help you as I think that it would be against the forum rules to post that file. If that doesn't work, I would reinstall the os.
