I'm trying to install Snow Leopard on a motherboard that came out of an Acer Aspire Predator G7750 containing an i7-930 extreme CPU. I have to use "PCIRootUID=1" Safe Mode to get to the Snow Leopard install screen, otherwise it hangs in the gray screen, but the install went fine otherwise. On restart after install, I see Snow Leopard next to ##### and when selected I get the gray apple screen and revolving wheel. At the same time I get apple's welcome audio and instructions but still not screen other than that nasty gray screen.

This motherboard, other than the i7, has Intel's x58 chipset, 4gb of DDR3 1066Mhz Ram and a gigabyte ati HD5770 video card. HD is a Corsair 80gb SSD. I'm using the latest ##### 3.1.1.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
