giianluigi Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 Hi all, I am new to mac I read some post here and would like to install the snow leopard in my new computer... i7 2600k gigabyte ga-z68ma-d2h-b3 (BIOS version f4) intel g3 SSD 80GB kingston 4GB ram ATI HD4650 graphic card I follow the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] + [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] method 1 boot with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 2 swap [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] with snow leopard installation dvd (10a432) 3 install snow leopard on my ssd 4 reboot with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 5 complete the installation 6 update to 10.6.6 7 install [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 8 restart without [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< stall on white background and grey apple logo here for the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] options, since i dont have knowledge about any kext stuff, i googled and found someone with the same mobo and used it Kext & Enablers Audio ALC8xxHDA - yes AppleHDA Rollback - yes Non-DSDT HDAEnabler - only ALC889 (that's what my board uses) Disk IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector - yes Graphics - only Ati 1.6.34.13 drivers Miscellaneous FakeSMC - yes NullCPUPowerManagement - yes Network Tried Lnx2Mac but seems to not work so Realtek Gigabit 2.0.6 does work Bootloaders Chimera 1.4.1 r877 - yes Please offer me some advice as I really dont know what has gone wrong...
