Inspiron 1525 Lion install

I have lion installed on my Inspiron 1525, even successfully updated to 10.7.1, but there is something awry.

I have menu meters installed and the processor usage is all over the place, and after an apparently random period of time the processors peg at 100% and it locks up. Sometimes it will come back and sometimes I have to hard reboot.

Any thoughts?

hello guy

I also have an Inspiron 1525 with lion 10.7.0 (GM) installed and this does not happen here

enter more data from your configuration:

- Which version of Chameleon?

- Set up your smbios.plist like this?

- All are original kexts?

- The DSDT was modified?

Sorry I have gotten busy and hadn't been doing much with this machine, at least as far as getting Lion working. I am using the nozyczek version currently with the same problems, after a complete retry.

Chameleon 2.0 RC5 r1331

Patched DSDT

Kexts installed in /System/Library/Extensions:

org.netkas.FakeSMC (3.1.0)

com.apple.driver.AppleACPIBatteryManager (1.0.15)

org.voodoo.driver.VoodooHDA (2.7.2)

org.voodoo.VoodooSDHC (1.1.2b1)

com.yourcompany.driver.AppleACPIPS2Nub (1.0.0d1)

com.Apple.driver.PS2Keyboard (1.1.0)

com.Apple.driver.PS2Trackpad (1.1.0)

It uses an installer script to install everything, which sucks because it locks the extra's folder, leaving me unable to manually edit with my limited shell knowledge.

I attempted iAtkos L1, but it won't even boot on this machine. It's sad because Snow runs like a dream, better than Windows and as good as Ubuntu on this machine.
