gedeon555
I have 3 sata hard disk and my motherboard is a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinium. before the installation, i removed all partitions of a 250GB HD and I followed the instructions of http://www.profit42.com/index.php/2006/05/...ndows-computer/ (I created a 10 GB partition). The problem is that during installation, when I launch the Disk Utility, I just see the installation disk. Also, my processor is a AMD Athlon 64 xp2 dual core 3800+. and I wonder what patch should I use. cbmkgd
@EdMartin: SATA drives problematic for installing OSX on nforce4-based motherboards, and probably on writing on them too; i've had not problems -- yet -- for read-only. So you might try on a PATA drive instead. Here's a discussion about this issue: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...hl=nforce4+sata There are many more when you search the whole forum with keywords: nforce4 sata Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26606-installation-with-sata-hard-disk/#findComment-180907 Share on other sites
