Sapphire 6850

Hi,

 

Although Sapphire HD 6850 works OOB, but the apps (Geekbench, DVD Player) crash!

 

I understand it might've been asked and answered before but I have now spent days on this and other forums searching for a working solution, but no luck still.

 

I'd really appreciate if someone with the same card and/or willingness to help can chime in and post some/all possible solutions. I'm sure it'll help many others like me.

Update: So this worked for me and my card was detected as 6850, uses Duckweed Framebuffer and loads all apps fine.

 

Download and install this: http://netkas.org/?p=880 using Kext Installer

 

This is my Boot.plist:
