  1. Sapphire HD7850

I've spent nearly 3 days trying to make this work but no luck so far! Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3R Sapphire HD7850 1GB I had a working Mountain Lion 10.8.1 with Sapphire 6850 but my card was sent it for repair and they gave me 7850 instead which doesn't seem supported. I upgraded to 10.8.4 and installed the patches ATIController and other kexts, installed FBRotate in /Applications and made sure it runs on boot, but NOTHING seems to work and get its stuck at the whitescreen on boot. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!
  2. Sapphire 6750 works, but NO QE/CI

Attached are the kexts and boot.plist in case anyone needs it. Sapphire 6750.zip
  3. Sapphire 6750 works, but NO QE/CI

Edit: got it work fully. Yes, had to add device ID to ATI5000Controller and ALSO AMDAccelerator.kext
  4. I have this exact same issue, anyone? Intel DH67BL Board Sapphire 6750
  5. Sapphire Radeon HD 6750

wow, its a relief to know someone got 6750 working with qe/ci, can you please share with us how you got it working? If possible, please also share the ATI kexts and boot.plist many thanks
  6. Hi, I didn't research enough and unfortunately got a Sapphire 6750. Although I managed to get it working at native resolution but I'd really appreciate if you can help also get QE/CI working. 7. Hi, I dual boot ML and Windows, both work fine but windows takes a huge amount of time to boot everytime because it probably reads the HFS partition. Is there any way to make it skip that step? Thanks
  8. HALF Geekbench score?

Okay, I kept NullCPU intact and used SleepEnabler for sleep, solved.
  9. HALF Geekbench score?

Okay, installing NullCPUManagement.kext got my score of 12750 back, but I won't be able to sleep with it. Any workarounds for my mobo? Thanks!
  10. HALF Geekbench score?

Yes, running chameleon. Play with p and c statesz. Like what? Brw, i've been getting p-stepper error since i removed nullcpupowermanagement.kext, is that the reason?
  11. Hi, I wouldn't complain if it was 100-200 here and there, but its HALF! Immediately after ML installation, I checked multiple times it was above 12000, but after setting up everything (sound, video etc..) its around 6000 consistently. Please help!
  12. Readme is a bit unclear -- do I have to EDIT the DSDT.aml and change the layout-ID or just find the layout-ID from it?
  13. Usb Overdrive on 10.8

Exactly, I have the same issue. It gets disabled on each reboot so you have to manually enable it every time. Well, a temporary solution I found is to -- obviously -- add the helper manually. Location is: /Library/PreferencePanes/USB\ Overdrive.prefPane/Contents/Resources/USBOverdriveHelper.app
  14. Hi, I just installed ML successfully, it works great but I have a strange problem, and its happening quite frequently -- randomly, in Finder particularly, mouse clicks are not recognized at all until I close the windows with keyboard and reopen. Is anyone else facing the problem? I don't even know what to search for to see if others have this issue. But its really annoying, I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!
  15. Hi, I'm using drivers from MB (tony's) for ALC889 and they work okay (the notification sounds are delayed by a second or so), but its spamming my console with: kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDAController at line 8088 ...couple of times every minute! Are there better drivers available or a way to fix it? Ofcourse, I've searched before posting but couldn't find a solution. Thanks!
